2 Queen Bea's Education Scholarship Guidelines
Furman & Joyce Sessoms, as education advocates and founders of The ARK Educational Consulting, Inc. (The ARK Educational Resource Center) based in Laurel, DE, is pleased to announce the Two Queen Bea’s Scholarship. Our vision is to help others realize the Jeremiah 29:11 plan that God has for each of us. We support and promote education in the following areas with two (2) $500 scholarships:
Graduating High School Seniors pursuing accredited college degree
Graduating High School Seniors pursuing vocational/career training programs
GED & High School Diploma Returning Students (Ages 17 up)
Christian Education diploma or degree from accredited program
Scholarship Applicants MUST:
Reside in Sussex County
Be a U.S. Citizen
Proof of Identification (Legal photo document)
Applicants MUST:
Complete the scholarship application and return requested documents by May 2024.
Submit an essay (per instructions) describing the need and three (3) future goals
Provide two (2) letters of recommendation
Provide written proof of enrollment/acceptance
Proof of Income (high school seniors must provide parent current taxes)
Please Note:
Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the institution upon verification of enrollment
and pass the institutions drop/add period
Scholarship recipients must attend the annual ARK Banquet on the 3rd
Saturday of June
Must maintain a passing grade to be eligible for future scholarship requests/applications
Immediate family members are ineligible to apply for the 2 Queen Bea’s scholarship to ensure compliance with IRS regulations for 501 3 c non-profits.
